Most of us will never know what it feels like to sit behind the wheel of a luxurious supercar. They are expensive, they are extravagant… They are awesome. There’s no denying that there’s something special about supercars. They have a certain quality to them that we simply cannot ignore. Most are designed to turn heads and offer the driver a level of luxury that most of us can only ever dream of.
The amount of supercars produced over the years is ridiculously high therefore, as you can expect, people often argue about which supercar is the best.
We have looked at a great number of supercars, considered by many to be the best, and compiled a list for you to enjoy.
The first vehicle on our list is Spyker C8. Perhaps not the first company that comes to mind when it comes to sports cars however brand is well known for its luxurious sports cars. The Dutch company made it onto our list because of its distinctive design. Spyker’s approach to supercars has always been somewhat unique, which is why we just had to include it on our list.
Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB/4
Ferrari is known for its luxurious supercars therefore it’s no surprise they’ve made it onto our list. Instead of featuring one of their recent models however, we’ve decided to go a little further back. Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB/4 was introduced in 1968. About 1406 only were ever made however the vehicle’s unique appearance and great handling earned it a great following from fans of the company and car enthusiasts.
Our list wouldn’t be complete without at least a mention of Lamborghini. The company, which specialises in luxury sports cars, is world-renowned for its extravagant and spectacular vehicles. Lamborghini Aventador was first introduced in 2011 and by June 2013, 2,000 were already built.
SSC Ultimate Aero XT
SSC Aero is best known for being one of the fastest vehicles in the world. It even held the Guinness World Record for being the fastest production car on the planet. SSC Ultimate Aero XT was first introduced in 2013 and was a special version of the original Aero built to celebrate its end of production. Only 5 were ever built making this vehicle rather rare compare to some of the other entries on our list. Capable of reaching a top speed of 273 mph (429 km/h), SSC Ultimate Aero XT is truly a spectacular car.
When it comes to supercars, Ferrari definitely knows what it’s doing. Having appeared on our list once before, we simply couldn’t help ourselves so we just had to include it once again. Ferrari P4/5 is a one-off vehicle that was unveiled in 2006. It was manufactured by Ferrari however it was redesigned by Pininfarina. The vehicle is elegant and luxurious, which is why it received universal acclaim from car enthusiasts and the public. Whether you like the vehicle or not, it’s a shame that it never went into production as we are sure it would do well with car enthusiasts worldwide.
Considered by many to be the best supercar ever made, McLaren F1 is definitely a fascinating vehicle. It held the record for the world’s fastest supercar at one point in the 1990’s as it is capable of reaching top speeds of 231 mph (408 km/h). Only 106 F1’s were ever made between 1992 and 1999.
