If you have been a devout Bugatti enthusiasts for a while, then you probably recognise the name “Chiron” as it has already been used by the brand on a 1999 concept car. The Bugatti Chiron will be making a return in the form of a new production vehicle and that is expected to go on sale in 2017.
Bugatti has always produced vehicles that took things to another level. Its cars are renowned for their high-performance and unique styling, which made the brand a household name.
Although the brand was originally found in 1909 it stopped producing cars in 1963 before it was brought back by Volkswagen in 1998.
The brand’s latest vehicle is the Chiron. Expected to go on sale in 2017, the car will be limited to 500 units.
Although the car shares a name with the 1999 concept, it won’t be using the vehicle’s design. It is expected to be a toned down version of the Bugatti Vision Gran Tourismo however the Chiron will be a little more expensive.
According to numerous sources the Bugatti Chiron will cost in the region of $2.3 million to $2.6 million, meaning only the super-rich will be able to afford it.
Reportedly the vehicle will be capable of reaching a top speed of 290 mph (470 km/h) making it one of the fastest production cars ever made.
Let us know what you think about the vehicle. Would you consider buying it if you had the money? We’re very excited to see the vehicle in all its glory however the price tag that it comes with seems a little too extreme for us.
